Nicole Griswold says she is making up for lost time. She never dreamed she could once again have a healthy and happy life. She didn’t realize how strong she was to overcome an eating disorder that developed when she was a teenager. Thanks to Denver-based Eating Recovery Center, she is alive. The Eating Recovery Foundation’s Charitable Care Fund assisted her financially so that she could finish treatment. To those like Nicole who qualify, the Care Fund is a true safety net.
“I see so many people and friends who are living day to day, not sure if they’ll be able to continue treatment and if their insurance was going to cover the costs.” Nicole said. “To have the Eating Recovery Center and their Foundation have my back was extremely, extremely beneficial to my recovery and took off a huge amount of stress off my shoulders.”
