At the start of this year, Pope Francis called 2025 .. a year of hope. On Easter Sunday, Pope Francis said: “I would like all of us to hope anew and to revive our trust in others, including those who are different than ourselves…. Hope empowers us!”
His call for us to look for hope in one another, and in all circumstances will always stick with me🤍💛

Congrats to 8th grader Emmy who won today's regional competition for the 2025 National Civics Bee put on by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce! Bravo to ALL of the students who competed! I was the one asking all the tough questions.. I couldn't imagine having to answer them all correctly! The students were engaged, bright and courteous. I'm so impressed!
Emmy and the 2nd & 3rd place finishers will compete in the State Civics Bee in May and then, the winner goes to the National Bee in DC, the winner of which will receive $100k to put towards a college savings account! Amazing.. thanks to the Bee's founding partner, Daniels Fund!
